This bird caused a moment of panic. Two of us independently spotted it in the top of a tree, partially obscured. All we could see were black feathers and the only obvious large black bird that inhabits trees here is the Hawaiian Crow....which is now restricted to a handful of birds in captivity. Then it moved into view and the hearts started again!
