One of the 'scourges' of the Kansa/Nebraska area we visited was these cattle pens.
They are 'finishing pens' where beef cattle are brought up to weight with concentrated feed prior to slaughter. You can smell them for miles and miles.....can't imagine what it must be like to live or work there.
