Our modest little bus....Unloading essential supplies ( mainly bottles) for out trip to the remote Rio do Oro Lodge.Washing clothes in the riverWe stopped for a while in the only town along the river.....the main 'square'.....making ourselves inconspicuous !Back in our motorised canoe and on up-river.......to the Rio do Oro Lodge..a former army barracks close to the Colombian border.Well-built entirely from local ( no doubt hard-wood) timber.Our mottley crew of birders.Presumably a Tarantula sp.Hunting Spider?A Ladybird look-alike.Yellow-collared ChlorophoniaA splendid but un-identified moth.Booted Racket-tail...male, with boots and racket-tail !!
