The journey begins......

....in specially modified vehicles.

This had been headlined as The Worst Road in the World.......

...and we soon realised why.

So that's what axle-deep mud looks like.....

These trucks ( and these guys) do the journey every day...bringing coffee out from the hills.

A town at the half-way point....with car park/football pitch!

Onward.....

....can it get any worse?

Fantastic photos, John! I love seeing the hummingbirds captured in all their glory- they move too fast to appreciate them fully in real life. That road trip is not a big selling point for that tour.
