I think it was last year that I posted a pic of these trees . I assumed they were Baobabs and commented how amazing it was that they had been transported all the way from Madagascar and were thriving in Spain. Well.....they aren't Baobabs! They are Ceiba speciosa from Paraguay....in the same family as Baobab and Kapok and also known as Silk Floss Tree or palo borracho ( 'drunken stick')....but they did come all the way from Paraguay !
