Arriving late afternoon.....

....in time for the sun to go down.

Up early and off to the display ground of........

....the amazing Wilson's Bird of Paradise.

A remarkable bird with it's vivid colours....

....strange tail.....

....and blue head.

A totally different appearance when the bird displays.

A brief interlude with a lurking Papuan Pitta......

and then back to the wonderful Wilson's BOP !
